A formulated plan of care in home health is done by a registered nurse and works under the direction of the attending physician.

Wound Care Certified Nurses:

Lacie Breaux LeBlanc, RN, WCC

Lacie has been employed by THI for four years. She received extensive wound care training in Atlanta, Georgia and has since earned national certification in wound care. She conducts staff in-services on wound care procedures and techniques. Along with the physician, Lacie plans and provides care for patients with acute and chronic wounds, pressure, ulcers, and/or any patient who has a potential skin care problem.

Sharon Fondren Allen, RN, WCC

Sharon has been employed with THI for two years; however, she comes to us with over 23 years of nursing experience, 17 of which focused on home health. Sharon received her wound care training in Birmingham, Alabama and has earned national certification. She is actively involved in meeting the wound care needs of our home health patients and assists the physician in helping the patient achieve a maximum level of wellness and independence.

Denise Landry, LPN, WCC

Denise has been a nurse for 15 years and employed with THI for three years. Denise received her national wound care certification in 2008. She is actively involved in managing the wound care needs for our home health patients and assists the physician in helping the patient achieve maximum level of wound healing and overall wellness and independence.
